How Can I Add Pictures to My Listing?
You can add photos with or without titles and descriptions, such as “coins” “furniture” or “real estate.” We’ve found images with searchable titles and descriptions are the #1 way for bidders to find your listings. Use Featured Photos and our new Gallery Plus tool for even better results!
You can add images after paying to publish the listing. As soon as you complete this step, you will be taken to the photo upload page. Alternatively, you can click “save and finish later” after creating a draft of your Listing, and then going to Auctioneer Home, and then clicking Manage Listings (Edit/Add Photos/Publish). On this page, click “Add Photos” on the right side of the listing you wish to edit.
From here, you can save an image gallery title (for example, “car photos”) or just begin adding images to the uploader. To add images, you can either use the drag-and-drop tool or choose files from your computer. Click the “Upload Images” button to save the files.
This will take you to the Manage Image Gallery page where you can Feature up to 10 photos and add titles to as many photos as you like. To use “Featured Photos”, click the “Feature Photo” button below the picture you want to feature. In the popup, add a title, category, and up to four keywords, then click the “Save Changes” button.
Once you are done Featuring your Top 10 images, be sure to add titles to the rest of your images so that you can match as many bidder searches as possible! You can save each title by clicking the icon or pressing the <enter> key on your keyboard which saves the current title and moves the cursor to the next image title in your gallery.
AuctionZip also supports pasting Lists of multiple image titles directly into your image gallery. Each list of titles you paste MUST match the order of the images in your gallery. Copy a list of titles from your spreadsheet or text file with one image title per line. Right click the title of the first image matching the first title in your copied list and click the paste option to paste your list of titles into your gallery.
On this page, you can also rotate or delete individual images if necessary. There are also buttons at the top and bottom of the page if you want to upload additional images or re-order the images in your gallery.

What Features Can I add to My Listing?

HTML
We support HTML to enhance your listings. Wraparound text and most tags will look great and make your listing stand out. Please note, links are not allowed in the body of a listing and may create broken text or other issues if you include them. We advise you not to use another text editor to format your listing (such as adding fixed-width margins or floating boxes in Microsoft Word, and then attempting to copy that into the AuctionZip Listing editor.) This can cause the listing to display oddly on some browsers.
Attachments
This feature is perfect for adding a flyer or catalog to your listing. You can add up to 4 files as an attachment. Please note, attachments cannot be deleted. If you have added an attachment that you no longer want, please upload a different file to overwrite the existing one.
Links
For auctioneers who run sales available for bidding on AuctionZip: did you know that you can get a free Listing with a link back to your online sale? Contact our Customer Care team to connect your AuctionZip Auctioneer ID# with your online sale profile. After that, whenever you post a sale that’s available for bidding on AuctionZip, a Listing will automatically be created for your sale (Please note that this can take up to 24 hours to process.) Alternatively, you can pay to post a listing. As long as Customer Care has synced your account, and the date and time of the Listing and Online sales are the same, a link to your online auction will automatically be added to your Listing.
For all other auctioneers: links are not permitted within the body of a Listing. However, the link to your auction company’s website (as featured on your auctioneer profile page) will be automatically added to the top of your Listing.
Help, I don’t see my listing/my listing looks wrong.
Missing Listings
Auctioneers who run sales available for bidding on AuctionZip: if this is your first time posting sales with us, please check with Customer Care to ensure we have linked your Auctioneer ID# and your online seller accounts. After that, when you post a new live or timed auction to AuctionZip, you should see a new listing created the following day with a link to your online sale. If you don’t see a new listing created within 24 hours of publishing your online sale, please contact Customer Care.
Listing Displaying Incorrectly
We support HTML to enhance your listings. Links are not allowed in the body of a listing and may create broken text or other issues if you include them. Formatting can be another culprit: we advise you not to use another text editor to format your listing (such as adding fixed-width margins or floating boxes in Microsoft Word, and then copying that into the AuctionZip Listing editor.) This can cause the listing to display oddly on some browsers.
To correct the errors, please go to your Auctioneer Home, select Manage Listings, and then click the “Edit Auction” button.
