How do I create an AuctionZip bidder account?

Creating a free AuctionZip account is simple, just follow the steps below!

  1. Click the Create Account button at the top right of the page.
  2. Click the blue “Create Bidder Account” button to create your free bidder account.
  3. Enter the requested information on the signup form and click Submit.
  4. You'll see a message confirming that your account was created.

I'm trying to create an account but it says my username is already in use by another user.

If you are getting an error that the username you entered is already in use, please try to enter a different username. The username must be unique for each user, it may help to try adding numbers to the username − such as "John1080" instead of just "John".

Why can't I sign in with my email address?

If you already have an account with AuctionZip and are getting an error that your email address or password is incorrect, please click the “Forgot password?” link.

How do I change my password?

You can change the password for your AuctionZip account by following the steps below:

  1. Sign into your AuctionZip account using your email address and current password.
  2. Click your account dropdown in the upper right of the page.
  3. Click Account from the list that displays.
  4. Under Settings, select “Edit Registration Info”.
  5. Enter your new password in both fields, then click Update.

How do I update my name and address?

Important Note: When you register for a sale, auction houses are provided with your contact information that is available at that time. If you change your personal information after registering for a sale, please contact the auction house directly to provide the most up-to-date information.


There are two places where your contact information is saved in your AuctionZip account. You can update it by following the steps below:

  1. Log into your AuctionZip account.
  2. Click your account dropdown in the upper right of the page.
  3. Click Account from the list that displays.
  4. Under Online Bidding, select “Update Bidding Contact Info”.
  5. Confirm that your information is correct on this page or make any necessary changes and “Continue”.
  6. Then under Settings, select “Edit Registration Info”.
  7. Confirm that your information is correct on this page or make any necessary changes and click “Update”.

How do I update my billing and credit card info?

You can update the billing information in your AuctionZip account by following the steps below:

  1. Sign into your AuctionZip account using your email address and current password.
  2. Click My Account in the upper right of the page.
  3. Click Account from the list that displays.
  4. Click Edit Billing Info.
  5. You can add a new credit card, delete old credit cards, and set a certain card as the default one that will be used for auction registrations and paying for won lots if the auction house accepts online payments.

If I update information on my account after registering for an auction or placing a bid, will the auction house get my latest info?

When you register for a sale, auction houses are provided with your contact information that is available at that time. If you changed your personal information after registering for a sale, please contact the auction house directly to provide the most up-to-date information.

An auction house said that I have unpaid items in my account, what is this and how can I fix it?

An auction house will file a dispute if you won an item during an auction and have not made payment. When the dispute was filed by the auction house, you would have received an email notifying you of an unpaid item reminder. If you cannot find an email about this, there should also be a copy of the message in your AuctionZip message center.


As disputes are filed by the auction house, please contact the auction house directly to resolve the dispute or unpaid item.

I contacted an auction house about disputes they filed against me but they haven't responded, what should I do?

If you have tried to contact the auction house by email and phone but have not heard back, please contact us for further assistance. We will reach out to the auction house on your behalf to request an update. Note that dispute resolution is at the sole discretion of the auction house, but we will assist you in communicating with them about it.

How Can I Save or Favorite a Listing?

Once you find a Listing you are interested in, click on the title. You will see a blue “follow auction” button with a star. To see auctions you follow, click on “[your name’s] Account” to get to the drop-down menu, and then click “Calendar” to see the Listings by date, or “In-Person” to view and manage your saved Listings.
