Unique Unknown Experimental Magazine Pistol The only marking is "B.17" on the right side of the frame/barrel shroud. Its origins are not known, but it is believed to date from the 1890s. The barrel and several action components are absent. It has a small trigger, integral box magazine with German silver plates, and a flat hammer with knurled round top. When the hammer is cocked an arm on the right side extends up to engage to lock with the trigger mechanism. The hammer is designed to strike an absent firing pin which would have been located at the back of the frame. It may have had a manual cocking piece/ejector under the barrel given the long groove.
