You must be 18 years of age or older to bid. By registering and bidding on any item, the bidder/buyer shows acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Do not register or bid unless you agree to all of the terms and conditions listed. All information provided during registration must be current, complete, and accurate. Duncan Auctions may deny or ban any registration to any person at any time. By using this site, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below.
Before you bid: You are encouraged to look thoroughly at the pictures. Please ask questions if you want more information. We will do our best to help out.
Disclaimer: All items are sold "as is, where is" with no guarantees. Duncan auctions encourages bidders to inspect lots in person before bidding. Duncan Auctions and the seller/sellers do not give or make a guarantee on items being sold. Duncan Auctions puts forth every effort to provide accurate information in the description of the items/lots being sold. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine the condition/worth of each item/lot being bid on before they place their bid. A bidder's failure to inspect before bidding, does not qualify the bidder for a refund, adjustment on price bid, or a refusal to close a sale. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason.
Refund policy: No refunds, returns or exchanges are permitted for any reason. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO GUARANTEE ON CONDITION OF ITEMS. Please take the time to inspect all items before bidding.
BIDDING TERMS: Duncan Auctions will set the guidelines for bidding increments. Duncan Auctions reserves the right to reject any bids for any reason. Current posting/starting time and closing times of auctions are approximate and Duncan Auctions reserves the right to close early or extend hours of auctions. It is strongly encouraged to bid early as to not miss out on last minute bids. All decisions made by Duncan Auctions are final.
Please note: Duncan Auctions reserves the right to extend bidding, continue bidding or close the bidding related to technical issues that may arise including software, server, internet or any other online auction related technologies. Duncan Auctions and the company providing the software shall not be held accountable/responsible for any technology related failures before, during or after auctions.
MAX BID: Max bid is the highest amount that you are willing to pay for the item/lot listed. The current bid price does not automatically jump to your max bid, unless there is a reserve. Your bid will go to the highest increment as other people bid against you. The computer will automatically bid these increments up to your max (Duncan Auctions will have the increments listed prior to auction). By placing any bids, you have agreed by legal contract that you are willing to pay what you bid for your max. The buyer agrees and is responsible for every bid amount placed. Keep in mind, buyers premium being added to final price of item(s). Remember, 6% Michigan sales tax (If you are exempt from Michigan sales tax all legal exempt forms will have to be filled out entirely) will be added to final amount that you owe. Be mindful, that the price of item and buyers premium are taxable. If it is an estate sale, no sales tax will apply. Please bid accordingly.
BUYERS PREMIUM: A 16% buyers premium is charged by Duncan Auctions for items. When you put in a bid, it will calculate the buyers premium before you hit submit. Please remember this does not calculate on the 6% Michigan sales tax (if it applies) at this time. Please note that Auction Zip generally charges 5% as their fee on items but this will be calculated into the above amounts and you will see this total amount before hitting submit on a bid. They do adjust their fee down for larger items and this will be noted upon their digression. What you see on your screen as "buyers premium" is the total amount of ours and theirs added together.
PAYMENT/ TYPES OF PAYMENT: All buyers MUST pay for their purchases in full within the scheduled removal dates listed by Duncan Auction (within four days) after the conclusion of the auction. Cash, checks, money orders, cashier's checks, major credit/debit cards are accepted. All credit cards will have a 4% processing fee if used in person with Duncan Auctions as this added as we are charged this to process the card. If you use the online credit card processing, this fee won't apply. We will process your payment within four business days or when you pick up your items. Make checks payable to: Duncan Auctions LLC. Items/lots become full responsibility of bidder/buyer at time of payment. If the item/lot is not picked up within the scheduled removal date(s). There is a $5 a calendar day storage fee (NO exceptions).
PICKUP AND REMOVAL OF ITEMS/LOTS: No items/lots can be removed until Duncan Auctions has received full payment. For those not picking up in person, we will ship items using (USPS) at buyers expense. Please contact us with any questions.
If you fail to pick up your items on the scheduled removal dates, and do not contact us, we will bill your credit/debit card used upon registration for this auction.
Important note:
Your bid is a legally binding contract, no exceptions. The winning bidder agrees to indemnify Duncan Auction's company, auctioneer, auctioneer employees, etc. from all claims, fees, judgments, expenses, disputes, legal fees etc. By using this site, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions listed above.

Payment

All credit cards will have a 4% processing fee added if paying in person, as we are charged this to process the card. If using credit card online, this fee won't apply. All credit cards can be processed 2 days after the auction invoices are sent.
Shipping Terms
We will combine shipping. (USPS) will be used and actual shipping charges will be applied. Please allow 24-72 hours for all invoices to be sent. Please make sure your mailing address is correct before bidding.
Taxes
6% sales tax for Michigan unless it is an estate auction in Michigan. Sales Tax Handling: Invaluable will collect and remit the appropriate sales tax amount on your invoice for US bidders.
Accepted Tax-Exempt Bidder Status: Sales tax will be automatically removed from invoices for bidders who provide tax-exempt paperwork to invaluable.
