A charming lot of fourteen vintage Lefton ceramic coffee cups decorated in the beloved Christmas Holly pattern, featuring richly molded holly leaves accented with bright red berries that gracefully wrap around each vessel and continue onto the sculptural handles. The dimensional berry accents and raised botanical decoration create a festive presentation synonymous with classic mid-century holiday tableware. Founded by George Zoltan Lefton in Chicago in 1941, Lefton China became one of America's most recognized importers of decorative ceramics and seasonal giftware. Their Christmas collections, particularly holly-themed table accessories, have become enduring favorites among collectors for their whimsical styling, quality craftsmanship, and nostalgic holiday appeal. Each cup is beautifully modeled with embossed holly foliage highlighted in deep green glazes against a crisp white porcelain body, while the handles are adorned with raised red holly berries, lending an elegant three-dimensional quality. Displayed together, this fourteen-piece grouping offers a cohesive and inviting presentation for holiday entertaining, Christmas breakfast gatherings, cocoa service, or seasonal decorating. Complete groupings of Lefton holiday mugs are increasingly sought after by collectors of vintage Christmas décor and fine seasonal ceramics. This lot of fourteen presents a wonderful opportunity to add a substantial and visually impressive assortment to an established collection or holiday table.

  • Literature: Lefton China holiday ceramics remain among the most collected examples of twentieth-century American seasonal giftware. Holly-themed dinnerware and serveware continue to enjoy strong collector interest due to their distinctive molded decoration, festive designs, and longstanding association with traditional Christmas entertaining.
  • Circa: Mid to late 20th century, circa 1960s–1980s.
  • Condition: Very good vintage condition. All fourteen cups appear free of noticeable cracks or repairs. Light surface wear and minor manufacturing variations consistent with age and normal use. Overall presentation is bright, clean, and displays exceptionally well.
