Four Pieces of Confederate Currency 1) $1 note dated "June 2, 1862" (T-44 1862), 2) $2 note dated "April 6th, 1863" (T-61 1863), 3) $10 note dated "April 2nd, 1861" (T-26 1861), and 4) $10 note dated "Sept. 2nd, 1861" (T-25 1861). Each of the notes is in a plastic sleeve and would have been redeemable six months after a peace treaty between the C.S. and U.S. in the event of a southern victory. Once the Confederacy collapsed, these bills were essentially worth only their value as scrap paper which cause most to have been destroyed. The relative scarcity and wide variety of designs have made them popular with collectors. Each of these bills has influential southern men or women. The $10 have the allegorical female figure Hope, and the $1 has Liberty. Manufacturer: None Model: None BBL: Stock: Gauge: Finish: Grips: Serial Number: Class: Other Condition: Fine with some minor storage type wear including some staining. The $10s also have moderate edge wear.
