French & Indian War Era New York Map Themed Powder Horn This is a very well-done piece based on original French & Indian War era New York map powder horns. It is extensively scrimshawed in 18th century style with a map of the Hudson River Valley, New York City, a deer, and a rendition of the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom. There are some intentional spelling mistakes that lend to the folksy style. No maker's marks were located. The name and date panel have been left blank allowing for personalization.
