179: Antique Pale Celadon Nephrite Jade Phoenix Carved Hair Clip.19th/20th Century. The intricate curvature of the piercing, nephrite is tough and compact, and extremely difficult to carve. All this is painstakingly accomplished by hand and the depth of 2 mm, requires both strength and skill. Length 4 inches.
