·This car then came to the US, was purchased by a Mennonite family that painted the exterior of the car black. (the interior is still the original Gulf Blue paint)
·Jack Rabold of Rabolds Foreign Car Sales & Service then purchased the vehicle. He painted it orange and raced the vehicle as #66 (the numbers currently on the car a just magnet tributes that can be removed)
·Jack's racing career spanned over 50 years competing in both open wheel and closed wheel cars on dirt, asphalt (hill climbs, ovals and road courses) and ice. He drove modified and production Volkswagens and Porsches, micro midgets, ¾ midgets, midgets, Sprint cars, mini stocks, Formula Vees, Formula Super Vees, and Formula 440s.
·Looking at the rear marking light housings, you can see it appears the previous colors are both under the orange, should you want to go back to the original paint.
·The car was then put in dry storage for several decades, before returning to the roads around 2020.
·This kept the car amazingly solid, as there is no rot anywhere and the pans appear to be original.
