Engraved Winchester Model 21 Double Barrel Tournament Skeet Shotgun with Cody Records Sheet The included Cody Firearms Museum records sheet confirms the serial number, gauge, configuration, grade, and that the shotgun was completed on June 15, 1933, for J.L. Gabt. Red bead front and steel bead mid sights on the concave matte rib with 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, and "WS-1/WS-2" marked chokes. The barrels are marked "MODEL 21--WINCHESTER--12 GAUGE/TRADE MARK" with the two-line address and "PATENTS PENDING" marking on the left. The water table is brilliantly jewelled with the three-line model and address marking on the right side, and the two-line patent marking on the left. The receiver is engraved in the 21-1 style with splashes of light flowing scroll on the sides, fences, and bottom. Single gold washed trigger with selector and tang mounted manual safety. With a "kidney" pattern checkered beavertail forearm with engraved fittings, and an inset silver initial disk near the tip, straight grip stock with checkered flats, and a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .733/.735 inch; minimum wall thickness .034/.030 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches. Includes a copy of the 1953 Winchester Model 21 information booklet "Symbol of Shooting Supremacy The Winchester Model 21 Double: World's Finest Shotgun". The receiver as some slightly soft edges with crisp engraving. The wood is fine with sharp checkering, some small scattered dings, and the buttstock shortened by approximately 1/2 inch.
