A Victorian majolica spill vase manufactured by Wedgwood, featuring an Aesthetic Movement design dating to approximately 1873. The earthenware vessel is of hexagonal form with a scalloped rim, tapering slightly toward the base. The exterior is decorated with six vertical panels separated by prominent raised ribs in a vibrant yellow-orange lead glaze. Each panel contains recessed, relief-molded scrollwork and foliate grotesque patterns in white against a deep blue ground. Centered within each panel is an oval medallion in a chocolate brown glaze, featuring a relief-molded classical figure such as a musician or dancer. The interior is finished with a contrasting turquoise-blue glaze. The underside of the base features a circular silver and black Rubin Collection provenance sticker, a paper inventory label with handwritten notations 114c1-2, D 1873, and x 175, and a handwritten factory number 7671 in blue ink. Faint Wedgwood imprinted backstamp. Dimensions: 2.25"L x 2.25"W x 5.00"H
