Whitney" and "New Haven" stamps, barrel dated 1841, butt plate with "U.S." stamp, likely walnut stock, "FH" and "HAJ" cartouche stamps opposite to lock plate, three iron bands fix barrel to stock, middle band with strap mount, ramrod present, wear consistent with age and use including pitting and corrosion to barrel and butt plate, rust, scratches in stock, ram rod with bend, untested, sold as-is, 57" l.
