SN H1867. Cal. 9mm. Standard configuration Walther HP with 5" bbl having replacement front sight and thick rear sight whose upper surface has been trimmed. Slide has usual squared firing pin. Left side of slide with Walther banner followed by "Zella-Melis" address suffixed by "Mod.HP". Safety with "S" and "F" detentes. Full SN with H prefix is on right side of frame. Four digit SN repeated inside the slide adjacent to the firing pin housing and under the bbl with last three digits on locking block. Crown/N marking has been applied to right frame by SN and repeated on right side of slide, right side of bbl, and right side of locking block. Fitted with orig black checkered plastic grips, left panel having a round recess for lanyard loop. Unmarked, unnumbered mag. Accompanied by correct chocolate brown holster with lid inked by distributor in Stockholm. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Approx 90% orig high-polish blue with moderate sharp edge wear coupled to noticeable scuffing on side of slide and front strap. Comparable condition grips and mag. Bright bore with oxidation in grooves. Perfect manual mechanics. Holster VG-Excellent, pull strap intact, showing no evidence of having been polished or restitched.
