Vintage Repro Cast Iron Mechanical Elephant Bank It's modeled after the Classic Hubley Mechanical Elephant back of the 1930s, and ours, though a reproduction, is in excellent, and, working condition (there's even a few coins in it). You put your coin in the slot on the trunk, and then pull the tail. The trunk throws it into the opening in the seat, When it's time to count your pennies, just unscrew the screw on the side.
