A handsome vintage hand-tooled leather satchel showcasing exceptional floral craftsmanship throughout. Executed in richly patinated natural tan leather, the bag is extensively decorated with deeply embossed and hand-tooled roses, scrolling foliage, and botanical motifs covering the front, back, sides, flap, and even the base—a level of ornamentation typically associated with higher-quality artisan leatherwork. The structured rectangular form features a fold-over flap secured by a leather strap closure, expanding gusseted sides, and a spacious interior suitable for documents, personal effects, or everyday use. The warm honey-brown leather has developed an attractive, even patina over years of careful use, highlighting the dimensional carving and emphasizing the sculptural quality of the floral decoration.
