Very Scarce and Exceptional U.S. Inspected .36 Caliber Gang Mold for Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolvers This mid-19th century U.S. contract mold is configured to produce six conical bullets with a single recessed shoulder for use with Colt's Model 1851 Navy revolvers and later the Model 1861 Navy revolvers as well. It measures 12 1/2 inches long and is of steel construction with smooth wood handles and brass ferrules. The sprue cutter is marked "S" and hinged to swing from right to left in operation. The left arm has the inspection mark "C.W.H." on the side, "18" on top, and "217" on the bottom ahead of the ferrule. The right arm is has three punch dots on the arm and ferrule. The mold is
