Scarce Early U.S. Hall Model 1836 Percussion Carbine with Ramrod Bayonet Only about 2,000 of these were made and many were altered during the Civil War. This early example has the implement compartment in the toe of the stock. It is dated "1837" (first year of production) on the breechblock and has the other standard markings and features. These carbines were used by the 2nd U.S. Dragoons during the Seminole Wars in Florida.
