This Lot is for the truly die-hard sports fan We have two (2) "Life Magazines' from March 1971, both dealing with the first, and epic Ali-Frazier fight, at Madison Square Garden, New York City "Life Magazine', March 5, 1971, ihas both fighters, in tuxedos, on the cover with main headline "Battle Of The Champs' and above them "Backstage with Ali and Frazier" To show how big a deal this was, inside is a 9-page spread under "The battle of the undefeated giants - Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali square off for $2.5 million each, with lots of photos of bothe fighters March 19, 1971 Cover: Norman Mailer On The Fight - 9 Pages Of Action Color, with a photo of "Frazier pounds at Ali', the photo taken by Frank Sinatra. Mailer's article was titled "Ego" and One fighter invented the psychology of the body - The other was a war machine, and included in the bevy of the photos, is another taken by Sinatra, a two-page spread, of Frazier grazing Ali with a left hook in the third round. Forget about any of the other articles in either magazine, this is Ali-Frazier here, nothing else matters
