Two framed prints of the Cape of Good Hope, late 18th and early 19th C., both framed behind glass, including after Jan Van Ryne (Dutch/British 1712-1760) "The Cape of Good Hope", c. 1794, hand-colored lithograph on paper, printed by Laurie and Whittle of London, bay scene with many wooden masted boats and men in dinghies, township and mountain range in background, various 18th C. watermarks, matted, toning, small areas of loss, ss 9 3/4" x 15 3/4"; after Henry Salt (English, 1780-1827) "View Near the Roode Sand Pass at the Cape of Good Hope", aquatint on paper, displays a horse drawn covered wagon traveling down dirt road, river, forest and rock formations in background, print cut out, title cut and put along matting, toning, losses, buckling of paper, tears along top and right hand side, likely laid down, not observed out of frame, ss 16" h. x 22 1/2" w.; both sold as is.
