It has the one-line New York barrel address, Colt patent frame marking, caliber marking on the trigger guard and stagecoach holdup scene on the cylinder. Matching numbers are found on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, cylinder, loading lever, barrel wedge and arbor pin. Manufacturer: Colt Model: 1849 BBL: 6 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 31 percussion Finish: blue/casehardened/silver Grips: walnut Serial Number: 245537 Class: Antique Condition: Very good plus. Scattered traces of original blue finish remain on the barrel and flashes of original case colors remain in the protected areas, otherwise the revolver has a smooth brown patina. Nearly all of the cylinder scene remains. The grip straps retain traces of darkened original silver plating in the protected areas. The grip is very fine showing high edge wear and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. B) Colt Model 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver Manufactured in 1852. It has the two-line New York barrel address inside brackets, Colt patent frame marking and stagecoach holdup scene on the cylinder. Matching numbers are found on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, cylinder, loading lever, barrel wedge and arbor pin. Manufacturer: Colt Model: 1849 BBL: 5 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 31 percussion Finish: blue/casehardened Grips: walnut Serial Number: 36909 Class: Antique Condition: Fine. The revolver has a smooth gray patina with the barrel retaining 60% original blue finish. There is some mild to minor pitting. The cylinder retains most of the scene. The grip straps retain 97% original silver plating. The refinished grip is fine showing some high edge wear and some minor pressure dents and scratches with most of original varnish remaining. Mechanically excellent.
