Features fixed front sight with silver bead and adjustable buckhorn rear sight, serrated hammer and smooth trigger, casehardened receiver and lever. Wide smooth forearm and pistol grip buttstock with a serrated black plastic buttplate. The receiver and lever have 85% original case colors overall with visible spotting on the right side of the receiver and silvering on the lever. The wood is very fine with handling marks overall and some scattered mild scratches. Mechanically excellent. B) Marlin Model 39A Lever Action Rifle Manufactured in 1948 with a beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard markings, and an adjustable Redfield rear peep sight mounted to the receiver. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a serrated plastic buttplate. Manufacturer: Marlin Firearms Co Model: 39a-Rifle BBL: 24 inch round Stock: walnut Gauge: 22 S L L R Finish: blue Grips: Serial Number: E11865 Class: Curio & Relic Long Gun Condition: Very fine. 97% plus original blue finish remains with some scattered surface scratches, nicks, and minor edge wear. The wood is fine with visible crazing on the varnish, crisp checkering, and some small dents. Mechanically excellent.
