Cone front and frame notch rear sights, serial number on the front of the frame, fixed ejector rod, standard engraving, and matching assembly marks on the frame, cylinder, and grips Manufacturer: Brooklyn F A Co Model: Slocum BBL: 3 inch round Stock: Gauge: 32 RF Finish: blue/silver Grips: rosewood Serial Number: 2739 Class: Antique Condition: Very good overall with dark bluish blend of dark patina and light oxidation on the iron and 40% of the aged original silver plating on the frame. There are some small marks and scratches throughout. The grips have numerous light surface scratches and a few small dents. Mechanically fine. The engraving and markings are distinct. B) Tipping & Lawden Sharps Model 2 Pepperbox Pistol Tipping & Lawden were one of just two licensed European manufacturers of Sharps' popular pistols. Matching full or partial serial numbers are marked on the underside of the barrel group, bottom of the barrel group guide rail, on the frame in the groove, firing pin, underside of the buttplate, and on the back of each grip panel. Two small English proofs are marked in the flute on each side of the barrel group. Manufacturer: Tipping & Lawden Model: 2A BBL: 3 inch fluted Stock: Gauge: 30 RF Finish: blue/silver Grips: gutta percha Serial Number: 1237 Class: Antique Condition: Very fine with 95% original blue finish on the barrels and 30% of the original silver plating on the frame. The silver has a dark aged patina in the recessed areas and brighter tones in the exposed areas. The brass has smooth aged patina. There are several scratches and dings throughout. The grips are very good with moderate handling wear and a small crack on the backside of the left panel at the top. Mechanically fine.
