Includes a 19th century mixed wood George III Tunbridge inlaid tea caddy with brass hardware, includes two lidded wooden box sections, 6 1/4 in. H, 9 3/4 in. L, 6 in. D; and a 19th century mahogany domed English tea caddy with brass hardware, three-section interior, 6 3/4 in. H, 10 in. L, 5 3/4 in. D

  • Provenance: From the Estate of Robert A. Erlandson, longtime Baltimore Sun journalist and former London bureau chief (1980–1984). This collection of tea caddies was assembled over decades, with many examples acquired while he lived in England, and pieces from the collection have been featured in publications on tea caddies and antique boxes
  • Condition: Tunbridge tea caddy with minor losses; both missing key; Domed tea caddy with age wear and age cracks and repairs to feet
