Includes a 19th century English mahogany George III style tea caddy with brass hardware, includes key and three canisters, 6 1/4 in. H, 9 3/4 in. L, 5 1/2 in. D; and a 19th century English mahogany tea caddy with brass hardware, includes key and three canisters, 5 in. H, 7 1/4 in. L, 4 3/4 in. D

  • Provenance: From the Estate of Robert A. Erlandson, longtime Baltimore Sun journalist and former London bureau chief (1980–1984). This collection of tea caddies was assembled over decades, with many examples acquired while he lived in England, and pieces from the collection have been featured in publications on tea caddies and antique boxes
  • Condition: Both with age appropriate wear. Larger with handle hardware with wear including right side of handle popping up, possible repair to front bottom right corner and to back left corner; smaller with damage to one canister and wear to the others
