The film garnered fourteen Academy Awards nominations winning 11 including Best Picture. This is the 1/8 miniature "winch" you see on the deck of James Cameron's Titanic. Used for scenes where you see the ship from above, and clearly seen in the Cinefex Magazine "Making of Titanic" edition. It's quite rare to find miniatures from Titanic, let alone one highly visible like this one. Because of the scale of this miniature, there is great attention to detail as you can see in the photos.
