Drawing dated 1965 and signed with the artist's monogram depicts a semi-draped reclining nude woman with arms raised behind her head, the sitter identified in the artist's own label as a model who also posed for Salvador Dali. Framed. Not examined out of frame.

  • Provenance: ARTIST PROFILE: Ted Seth Jacobs was born in 1927 and trained under F. V. DuMond from 1943 to 1947, going on to win numerous awards. He exhibited at institutions including the Springfield Museum of Fine Arts, the Walker Art Center, and the Westmoreland County Museum of Art, with one-man shows at New York's Wickersham Gallery and the Fisher Gallery in Washington, D.C. His work is held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Finch College Museum, and a selection of his still-lifes was chosen for the State Department's Art in the Embassies program.
