This hand-made studio pottery lidded casserole dish is constructed from stoneware with a wheel-thrown circular body and two applied handles. The piece features a variegated glaze design consisting of cobalt blue and olive green over a speckled cream ground. The lid is topped with a circular knob finial and continues the tri-color glazed pattern. The interior is finished in a speckled cream glaze, while the rim and base are left unglazed, showing the natural texture and iron spotting of the clay body.
