Special Order Winchester Model 1894 Deluxe Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine Manufactured in 1910. Standard beaded blade front and adjustable folding ladder rear sight. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the two-line address followed by the two-line nickel steel/smokeless powder marking followed by ".30 W.C.F." The top of the barrel and receiver at the breech are marked with the Winchester oval proofmark. Three-line model/maker/patent marking on the upper tang, and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. The left side of the lower tang is marked "507 X", the stock is marked "507 on the butt, and the inside of the buttplate is marked "50" on the toe and "C4556". The barrel and magazine tube are blue, the receiver and buttplate nickel plated, and the hammer and lever are case colored. The carbine is mounted with a deluxe multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap and crescent buttplate. At the time of writing, there is no factory letter to confirm this carbine's configuration. The barrel and magazine tube retain 98% original blue finish with a couple of light scratches and some varnish residue. The receiver retains 98% factory nickel finish with a number of minor scratches. Most of the case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The wood is fine with 70% varnish remaining and scattered minor dents, dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The markings are clear. Deluxe Winchester Model 94 saddle ring carbines are rare!
