Engraved Union Armera Model 219 Double Barrel Side Lock Shotgun with Case Manufactured in 1952 by Union Armera the precursor to the current Grulla gun making firm. Single bead sight on the matte, flat rib, standard maker's marks on the barrels, wedges of light scroll engraving at the breech, 3 inch chambers with ejectors, standard Spanish proofs on the flats, improved modified/full chokes, and a gold inlaid "2" on top of the rib at the breech. Bright coin finished assisted opening side lock action with full coverage Purdey style rose and scroll engraving, dual triggers, and tang mounted automatic thumb safety. The forend tip and break lever are marked with gold inlaid "2" matching the barrel rib. Visible serial numbers are matching with the exception of the forearm wood which is numbered "14450". Checkered forearm and buttstock with a checkered bare butt. The barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .723/.722 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .053/.054 inch; minimum wall thickness .030/.030 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches; 7 Lbs. 5.2 Oz. With a cloth and leather covered takedown case, three-piece cleaning rod, cleaning rod heads, oil bottle, and two snap caps.
