The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address, the patent marking is on the cylinder, and matching assembly number "3" on the cylinder, barrel and frame. Silver plated brass frame, blue remaining parts, blade front and notch rear sights, and fitted with smooth varnished rosewood grips with the matching serial number stamped on the inside of each panel. Manufacturer: Smith & Wesson Model: 1 BBL: 3 3/16 inch solid rib Stock: Gauge: 22 short Finish: blue/silver Grips: rosewood Serial Number: 4927 Class: Antique Condition: Fine. The barrel retains 50% thin original blue finish mixed with a smooth brown patina. The cylinder retains 25% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. 95% of the original aged darkened silver plating remains on the frame with minor edge wear. The grips are very fine with most of the original varnish remaining, a few minor dents and dings, and some very minor lower edge wear. The barrel hinge is tight, and the action is excellent. B) Smith & Wesson Model Number 1 2nd Issue Single Action Revolver Manufactured from 1860 to 1868. One line address on the barrel rib, patent marking on the cylinder and the serial number on the butt, with matching number on the inside of the right grip panel. Matching assembly number on the cylinder and barrel, the frame is marked with two dashes and "6". Blade front and notch rear sights, silver plated frame, hammer and trigger appear to have been finished gold and blue remaining parts. Fitted with varnished rosewood grips. Manufacturer: Smith & Wesson Model: 1 Second Issue BBL: 3 3/16 inch solid rib Stock: Gauge: 22 short Finish: blue/silver/gold Grips: rosewood Serial Number: 58021 Class: Antique Condition: Fine. The barrel and cylinder retain 50% original blue finish mixed with a smooth brown patina. The frame retains 98% original silver plating which is darkened with age and shows some edge wear. The hammer has 20% thin gold finish and the trigger shows 60% gold finish remaining. The grips are also very good with 90% original varnish remaining, and showing some wear and nicks on the lower edges and a few minor dings. The markings are sharp. The barrel hinge is tight and the action is excellent.
