Signed Japanese Sword, Possible Koto-Era Production Measuring 38 inches overall, with a 27 inch blade installed in a blackened copper habaki. The round tsuba is also blackened copper, with raised and gold highlighted cherry blossom and bird decoration, the fuchi and kashira being blackened iron, a pair of plant themed menuki and a leather wrapped saya. The tang has three mekugi-ana, with notably deeper aging towards the rear and a two-symbol signature on the left side, which appears to be "Kanenaga", a name associated with a number of Koto-era Smiths.
