Scarce Winchester Model 94 Classic Anheuser-Busch Michelob Diamond Jubilee Lever Action Carbine with Box Manufactured circa 1971 as a limited edition of only 250 Model 94 carbines as a commemorative award for the Michelob Diamond Jubilee. The carbine features a simple border engraving on the receiver sides and standard barrel markings. Blue finish with a case colored receiver, and mounted with a smooth nicely figured walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered plastic shotgun buttplate. Inset into the right side of the stock is a solid gold medallion of the Anheuser-Busch crest. Comes with a letter from Winchester dated September 24, 1971 advising Anheuser-Busch about the manufacture of the limited edition and the original box numbered to the gun. Manufacturer: Winchester Model: 94 BBL: 20 inch octagon Stock: walnut Gauge: 30-30 Finish: blue/case colored Grips: Serial Number: 3101865 Class: Modern Long Gun Condition: Excellent. The carbine retains 99% of the original blue finish with some minor pitting under the finish on the forend cap. The receiver has a blotchy case colored and silver appearance with what appears to be chemical stains and a white residue in the engraving and serial number. The buttplate is a bit ill-fitting, the wood on the left wrist warped, there is some flaking on the left side of the stock and some minor crazing on the right side. Overall there are a few minor dings and handling marks. The trigger is loose when in the decocked position, otherwise the action functions well. The box is about good with tape along the folding edge of the lid, tape on the end label, and overall some edge and corner wear.
