Scarce Flag for the Commander-in-Chief of the Kriegsmarine Measuring 20 inches (50.8 centimeters) square, this flag is of the style appointed by Reichskriegminister Werner von Blomberg from 1935 to 1939 for use by the Oberfehlshaber der Marine (Commander-in-Chief of the German Navy), which during that time frame would be Grossadmiral Erich Raeder. The hoist is ink stamped "eagle/m" and "Ob.d.M. 0,5 x 0,5", and the main body is white cloth with a printed design of a black and white Iron Cross backed by a crossed pair of gold and brown swords with fouled anchor designs on the hilts.
