SAMUEL FRAYSER (D. 1849) ATTRIBUTED, HENRICO CO., VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately two-gallon capacity, ovoid form with squared rim, beaded neck, and double-incised shoulder rings, applied arched handles. Brushed cobalt double-bloom flower with feathered foliate stems to each side, additional cobalt to handle terminals. Attributed to Samuel Frayser (ca. 1787-1849), Henrico Co., VA. Circa 1817-1849. 11" H, 5 3/4" D rim.

    Having two shallow chips to rim, some lines of glaze exfoliation/scratches to lower body, and a hairline/possible firing separation to interior that does not go through to exterior.
