ROBERT F. KENNEDY
(1925 - 1968) American politician who successfully managed his brother John's presidential campaign and was later appointed Attorney General. He was assassinated in 1968 while running for president. Fine association T.L.S. 'Bob' as Attorney General, 1p. 4to., Washington, Sept. 2, 1964, on his official letterhead to Edward L. Katzenbach, father of John F. Kennedy's Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach, in part: ‘…Many thanks for your kind and thoughtful letter. I was well aware of your enthusiasm as a member of the Youth Committee, and I am glad to have this opportunity to tell you again how much I appreciated the help and cooperation you gave to President Kennedy and to me…'. Handsomely matted in black with a portrait of Kennedy and set into a 19.5 in. x 15.5 in. black frame. Fine condition, not examined out of frame.
