Monumental and Dynamic Polychome Indian with Bow and Arrow Bronze Signed C. Kauba Carl Kauba (Vienna, Austria, 1865-1922). This solid cast bronze was supposedly earmarked for some monument inside or outside a massive building. The statue shows an American Indian in full ceremonial dress ready to shoot an arrow into the sky with destination unknown. The bow is bent as the Indian takes aim for his shot.
