Unique Fine Percussion Knife Pistol with Finely Engraved German Silver Scales There are no visible markings. It has a 3 3/8 inch spear-point blade, threaded ramrod, floral engraved scales, and a small compartment in the butt. Similar pistols were manufactured by Unwin & Rodgers in the 1860s and were no doubt also manufactured by various other firms in Europe. These would be very convenient on a trap line.
