Conditions of Sale
Even though we do our best to describe each item with accuracy, we strongly recommend that you view the items in person prior to bidding.
• All items sold "as is/where is" with no warranties expressed nor implied. Comments coming from the auction block supersede any printed material. All sales are final. We urge you to satisfy yourself for authenticity, condition and age prior to bidding.
• Bidders are requested to register prior to the auction. A bidder number will be issued at registration.
• The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the bidding will be reopened between the final parties.
• On the fall of the auctioneer's hammer, title will pass to the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer.
• Buyers that are present at the auction or buyer's that leave bids with the Golden Memories Staff in person or by phone, a buyer's premium of 15% will be added to the successful bid price and is due as a part of the total purchase price. If a Credit Card or Debit Card is used a 3% transaction fee will also be added to the final total.
• Buyers who bid live on-line or leave bids though our on-line auction provider will be charged an 20% buyers premium unless stated differently in the on-line terms and conditions. There is no discount of the online buyers premium for items that are picked up at the auction location after purchasing online. All online purchases must be paid within four business days of the close of the auction. Any item not paid for in the required time may result in a non paying bidder dispute being filed. No items will be shipped prior to payment.
• We will send invoices the Monday following the auction. If payment arrangements are not made with in 4 days of the sale, we will charge the registered card on file with Invaluable. Registering for this auction constitutes acceptance to these terms.
• Buyers will be charged a Georgia sales tax of 7% unless they present a valid resale tax number or the buyer purchased items by left bid, phone or on-line that will be shipped out of state. If the phone bidder/on-line bidder picks up the items on our premises the 7% Georgia sales tax will be charged.
• All transactions must be completed before the property is removed from from the auction premises whether at Golden Memories or on-site.
• All Merchandise purchased at Golden Memories must be removed no later than five (5) calendar days after the sale. Any items left after that time will be transferred to Champion Storage and storage fees will be charged at the rate of $1.00 per day per item. If not picked up after 30 days, items will be considered abandoned and ownership will revert to Golden Memories Auctions, Inc. An announcement will be made at on-site auctions concerning time limits for removal of property.
• Forms of payment: Cash, Approved Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. A bank letter of credit is always advisable for new customers and for on-site auctions.
• As a convenience to our customers, we can ship your purchases. We will be glad to provide you a shipping estimate prior to the auction. Failure to obtain a shipping quote prior to the auction is not an excuse for holding payment on your winning bid. It is the buyers responsibility to have shipping arrangements in place prior to bidding. Every effort will be made to ship items within 5 business days of the auction provided payment has been made. We are not responsible for shipping delays that are beyond our control. We will out source our shipping at our discretion. Upon payment for shipping you will be provided a tracking number by Golden Memories. No merchandise will be shipped until full payment for the merchandise and shipping have been received. Buyers who purchase items that are require to be shipped as freight will be required to make there own arrangements for shipping.
• Bidding constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Premium
