Nazi Fallschirmjaeger Helmet The signature helmet of the German airborne infantry, finished in a two-tone color scheme of light tan and green over the original factory finish, with light traces of painted-over grit; traditionally associated with the African Theater of the war. The interior webbing is secured with a set of four 2-pin spanner bolts, with a dark blue leather chinstrap, "56/68" size markings on the leather web and a Karl Heisier (Berlin) makers mark. Manufacturer: None Model: None BBL: Stock: Gauge: Finish: Grips: Serial Number: Class: Other Condition: Good overall. The exterior shows around 80% of the camo paint, with wear concentrated atop the crown and around the skirt, along with scattered light scratches and light spotting on the exposed steel. The leather is good, with light cracking and edge wear, and signs that the size stamp was applied with the webbing and padding already assembled. While a good example, there is no assurance of wartime application of camouflage paint.
