Mom Can I Keep Her Screen Used Gorilla Make-Up Head - Instead of bringing an Extraterrestrial home, the comedy "Mom, Can I Keep Her" (1998) is the story of a troubled boy, Timmy Blair (played by "Malcolm In The Middle's" Justin Berfield) who brings home a 500 pound gorilla. Not something that's easy to hide from his step-mom or the rest of his family and friends. This is the actual hero screen used and worn Gorilla latex mask with intricately hand-inlaid hair worn by gorilla-actor expert Don McLeod, who played Zamora the gorilla. It is mounted for protection in a matching gorilla mold, which doubles as an excellent display. This carefully crafted special make up appliance comes from the celebrated collection of Jerry Neeley, well-known film historian, writer, collector and owner of the famous "Jerry's Video" in Los Feliz, CA. Customers, collectors and throngs of industry people would come from around the world to talk to Jerry, whose knowledge and memory were encyclopedic and also visit his collection. This rare piece of iconic Hollywood creatures comes with a Letter of Provenience from Jerry Neely's widow and co-owner of his various video and memorabilia shops. (Hero screen worn gorilla appliance comes with two plastic matching stands. Mask is approx 12"x19"x9").
