Latin America, Mexico, ca. late 20th to early 21st century CE. A Mexican sterling silver bracelet composed of interlocking links, each shaped as a tapered, curved element with a circular opening. The bracelet closes with a lobster claw clasp stamped "925" and "86," indicating sterling silver content and likely a workshop or maker's production number. Mexican silver jewelry of this type is associated with the modernist tradition developed in Taxco beginning in the mid-20th century. Size: 9" L x 0.3" W (22.9 cm x 0.8 cm); silver quality: 96.33%; weight: 44.7 grams

Spratling's work often emphasized strong, architectural links that functioned as both structure and ornament, a design philosophy echoed in this bracelet's smooth, sculptural chain. With its polished finish, substantial links, and elegant simplicity, the bracelet reflects the enduring influence of the Taxco silver tradition and the lasting appeal of modernist Mexican jewelry design.
