Mauser Sneak Police Rework Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster These were the last of the Weimar Police Lugers issued from 1929-33 as manufactured at the old DWM factory. These are termed the 1929 Police Model and were produced under German rearmament program. They are characterized by having almost no visible markings, i.e. no chamber date or maker's mark on the front toggle, intending to try and hide the German build up. They are usually serial numbered in the "s", "t" and "u" serial number ranges with a few noted in the early "v" range. This one is stamped with only a single WaA66 Waffenamt proof on the right side of the barrel extension. The front grip strap is stamped L.Mi.105, indicating issuance to a Landjaegerei (Rural Police) unit likely around Minden, in Prussia. It is fitted with the partial sear and magazine safety (deactivated). It has standard walnut grips and comes with two magazines; both having polished steel magazine bodies, one with a wooden base and the other with an unnumbered aluminum base. This Luger comers with a black leather holster that is stamped with a single police proof on the back side with an unreadable ink stamp on the inside of the flap. Manufacturer: Mauser Model: 1933 Police BBL: 4 inch round Stock: Gauge: 9 mm Luger Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 2668t Class: Curio & Relic Handgun Condition: Very fine as arsenal refurbished with 85% of the blue finish still remaining overall with blue loss on the edge and high spot overall with thinning and blue loss on the grip straps with some old touch up on the side plate hump and front edges of the frame rails. The smaller parts retain 70% of the thinning straw colors overall with slightly more in the protected areas. The grips are also in very fine condition with nice distinct checkering on both sides. The holster is in very good condition with a nice black color overall with intact stitching showing minor scuffing and handling marks overall.
