Front sight modified to present a bead profile and a pinned 50-500 rear sight modified to allow horizontal movement of the sight blade. Top of cursor marked "Made for Westley Richards & Co". Long extractor and independently secured firing pin. 3-line chamber address with Crown/Crown U proof on left side. The right side of the bbl extension is marked with antler acceptance. Full SN on back of frame just below locking lever. SN is repeated on the firing pin retainer and bolt stop. No SN noted on the rear sight assembly. Major components rust blued. Fire blued extractor. Salt blued rear sight components, bolt stop, firing pin retainer. Disassembly shows all matching numbers including each of the grips. Lanyard ring present. Complete with light brown, suede covered hard shell carrying case, lined with luxurious green fabric and secured with two keyed brass clasps, keys not present. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection - Germany. CONDITION: Approximately 70-75% orig rust blue with considerable touch-up over bbl. Moderate wear in front of mag well with front and back straps largely grayed. Rear sight, bolt stop and firing pin retainer have been re-blued. Hammer, no SN present, has been polished. Re-varnished grips with scattered handling dings. Dull bore with shallow rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Carry case shows little use. An unusual Westley Richards marked Conehammer whose sight modifications should appeal to target shooters. 49829-86 LMA
