Desirable Complete Matching Numbered Collector's Set of Four Browning Centennial Edition Guns with Cased Knives -A) Browning "Jonathan Browning" Percussion Mountain Rifle with Box and Cased Set of Three Pocket Knives Desirable Complete Matching Numbered Collector's Set of Four Browning Centennial Edition Guns with Cased Knives -A) Browning "Jonathan Browning" Percussion Mountain Rifle with Box and Cased Set of Three Pocket Knives Manufactured c. 1978, one of just 1,000 produced for the Browning Centennial edition. Standard features for the commemorative including the centennial plaque on the stock and the bust of John M. Browning's father John Browning. Includes the original box. Each of the four guns in this set bears a matching "0167" serial number as well as each knife in the included set of three Browning Centennial edition pocket knives, consisting of a 3 1/4 inch tri-blade, a 4 1/4 inch single blade, and a 3 1/2 inch double blade, with brass fittings and stag grips housed an a fitted walnut presentation case.

B) Factory Louis Acampo Signed, Game Scene Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning Superposed Rifle with Extra 20 Gauge Barrel Set Manufactured c. 1978, with an import mark on the barrel. Features floral scroll pattern engraving on the coin finished receiver, with game scenes consisting of a gold inlaid elk on the left side and a gold inlaid quail in flight on the right side, a portrait of John Moses Browning on the bottom or the receiver with "1878" and "1978" in banners, "BROWNING CENTENNIAL" also marked on the underside, with the work signed "LACAMPO" on the left side for Fabrique Nationale factory engraver Louis Acampo. It has fixed beaded blade front and folding adjustable notch rear sights, along with standard factory markings. Fitted with a multi-point checkered forend and straight grip stock. Includes an extra matching set of 20 gauge barrels with chokes marked "**/*" (modified/full), and a shipping box.

The matching knives are also excellent. The case is very fine. B) Very fine, retaining 99% original blue and gold finishes and 98% original coin finish with a few small patches of spotting on the receiver, otherwise limited minor handling evidence along with crisp engravings, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set is excellent. C) Very fine, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with some plum coloration, a few specks of oxidation, light cycling wear on the hammer, limited minor handling evidence, and clear markings. The wood is excellent. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine. D) Excellent overall, retaining 99% bright original chrome finish with limited minor handling evidence, clear markings, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
