MASSACHUSETTS, CONNECTICUT, AND POSSIBLY OTHER COIN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF 29, comprising five tablespoons including a pair by Ebenezer Moulton of Boston, MA (active c.1794-1816) and Newburyport, MA (active 1816-1824), a soup/dessert spoon by Nathaniel Olmstead of Farmington, CT (active 1808-1826) and New Haven, CT (active 1826-1860), a small teaspoon/demitasse spoon with rat tail bowl by William Ward of New Haven, CT (active 1766-1768) and Litchfield, CT (active 1768-1829), and 22 teaspoons including a set of six by Martin Moses of Somers, NY (active 1815-1818), Lenox, MA (active 1818-1849), and Peekskill, NY (active 1850-1880), a set of three by John J. Low of Boston and Salem, MA (active 1820-1853), and a pair by Asa Carter Pelton of Great Barrington, MA (active c.1840-1880), each with personalized engraving to handle. Each marked. Total weight: 19.435 ozt.

  • Condition: Mostly in good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including bending, dents, nicks, and/or worn bowl tips, possibly one or two repairs.

Shipping

We can ship most items with the exception of furniture and other large and/or heavy items.

Shipment of won lots to an address different from that on file may require verification, which can cause up to a 30-day delay in shipping.

Once a package is ready to ship it is weighed, measured and processed through the USPS and/or UPS system in order to determine cost of shipping including insurance and additional services (e.g. delivery confirmation) as applicable.

Our packing service is billed at a prorated fee of $18.00 per hour, with a $10.00 minimum. We use recycled materials whenever possible at no charge to the buyer. If we use purchased supplies such as boxes, etc., that cost is passed on to the buyer.

The actual cost of shipping/insurance and packing/materials cannot be determined until packing is completed. Once known, the shipping charges are applied to the buyer's invoice and he/she is notified of the cost by email (or by phone if we have no email).
