Luftwaffe Offizerschwert Model 1934 a superb example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe officer's sword (fliegerschwart). Being an early example made from high quality German nickel plated metal (silver specimen). The blade is perfect and stamped with the prestige makers mark of E and F Horster sword maker Solingen, The blade also stamped with the eagle/5 Waffenampt quality issue/service mark. The ricasso of the sword stamped with 352 issue unit/service number. The scabbard is also stamped 352 on the throat so sword and scabbard are a matched pair. The scabbard is covered in blue Moroccan leather and is in perfect condition. This sword was liberated after WW2 and believed to have been in the same family since, Very nice patina overall. It would be extremely difficult to find a better example, Truly a collectors item!. 35.5 inches in length - the blade 28 inches,
