This collection includes multiple hardcover volumes focused on natural history, botany, and agricultural science. Two Yearbooks of Agriculture from the United States Department of Agriculture are present: Water (1955) in blue patterned cloth and Grass (1948) in green cloth with a black title block. The group contains two botanical guides by Harriet L. Keeler, published by Charles Scribner's Sons: Our Native Trees and How to Identify Them (Fourth Edition, 1904) and Our Northern Shrubs and How to Identify Them (1903), both in decorative tan cloth with botanical spine illustrations. Ellen Robertson-Miller's Butterfly and Moth Book (Revised and Enlarged Edition, Charles Scribner's Sons, 1934) is an ex-library copy in dark green cloth with library markings. Also included are three volumes by John Burroughs published by Houghton, Mifflin and Company: The Light of Day (1900), Winter Sunshine (Tenth Edition, 1886), and Indoor Studies (1895), bound in uniform brown cloth.

Atlee Raber Auctions will coordinate in house packing & shipping (at buyer's expense) with on all items we deem as suitable for shipping, as a courtesy service to our customers.

It is the bidder's responsibility to take shipping costs into consideration when bidding on these items.

Shipping methods may include FedEx, UPS, USPS or whatever method is best. Atlee Raber Auctions cannot be responsible for loss or damage to the items during shipping.

Large items, such as furniture, large signs, neon, etc, will exclusively be FOR PICK-UP ONLY or for private courier delivery as selected by the winning bidder or recommended local agent from Atlee Raber Auctions.


The buyer is free to contact any shipping company they wish, as shipment is not limited to the agents provided by Atlee Raber Auctions.

In light of the current pandemic, ALL PICK-UPS will be scheduled with our office in advance to allow for all safety practices and precautions to occur.
