A striking set of six Bohemian cut-to-clear crystal cordial and liqueur glasses, each exquisitely crafted in a different jewel-toned overlay and individually decorated with brilliant hand-cut patterns. Executed in shades of ruby, cranberry, amethyst, cobalt blue, sapphire, and deep garnet, the collection beautifully demonstrates the renowned artistry of Bohemian crystal engraving. Each bowl is overlaid with richly colored crystal and meticulously cut back to clear, revealing an array of traditional motifs including starbursts, crosshatching, fans, diamonds, florals, and geometric ornament. The glasses are further enhanced by elegantly proportioned faceted or paneled stems and finely detailed feet, giving each example its own distinctive character while forming a harmonious decorative ensemble. For centuries, the glasshouses of Bohemia—now within the Czech Republic—have been celebrated as among Europe's foremost producers of luxury crystal. Their mastery of overlay coloring and wheel-cut decoration established an international reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, with hand-cut colored crystal remaining one of the region's most admired artistic traditions.   • Circa: Mid to late 20th century, circa 1960s–1980s.
  • Condition: Very good vintage condition. All six glasses appear free from visible chips, cracks, or repairs upon examination. Minor light surface wear to the undersides consistent with careful handling and age. The cut decoration remains crisp and the colored overlays retain excellent vibrancy. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the condition report.
