This assortment consists of a mixed date bag of US Washington Quarters produced in 1964 and earlier. Each coin is struck in a composition of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features the left-facing portrait of George Washington by John Flanagan with the transcriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the specific minting year. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with spread wings above a wreath, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and QUARTER DOLLAR. Observable dates in this group include 1942, 1944, 1945, 1952, 1956, 1958, 1961, and 1964. Several pieces display the mint mark D for Denver on the reverse below the eagle. All coins have reeded edges.
