Pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain ginger jars, late Qing to early Republic period, each of rounded ovoid form with short unglazed neck and hand-painted cobalt decoration featuring large double happiness characters surrounded by scrolling floral and vine motifs. Each jar bears a small red export or inventory mark near the shoulder and underside.

  • Condition: Good antique condition with surface wear, glaze crazing, scattered firing irregularities, discoloration and residue at rims, minor glaze flakes and small chips/fritting. Lids absent.
